Frequently asked questions & usage rights

❋ What do you use for video editing?

We currently use Final Cut Pro, CapCut and After Effects. It depends on what type of video it is.

❋ What is your turnaround time?

Turnaround time is typically 3–7 business days for edits, depending on what type of video, complexity and amount of videos.

❋ How do I send my raw footage?

You can upload your files via Google Drive, Dropbox or WeTransfer and send us the shared link for download.

❋ Where do we chat?

We’ll start via email, with Notion as our project portal for keeping everything organized. Retainer clients can also use WhatsApp for quick communication.

❋ How many revisions do I get?

Each video includes up to 3 rounds of revisions within the agreed scope. Major re-edits or changes to the original creative direction may be quoted separately.

❋ Can I ask another editor to recreate the editing style you developed for me?

Our original creative elements and editing direction developed specifically for your content cannot be directly copied or recreated by another editor. Similar editing techniques are completely fine, as long as our specific creative work isn’t replicated.

❋ Can you share the working/project file?

We don't provide editable project files. You'll receive drafts for review and the final approved video once it's complete.

❋ Can I use the graphics you create with another editor? Like the intro, outro, subscribe pop-up

Complimentary graphics can be included for use with SALO Studio’s editing services. If you’d like to use them with another video editor or just to have your own file copy of the assets, our Custom Graphic Usage Rights can be purchased separately. This paid add-on gives you the rights to use complimentary graphics and animations we've created for you, such as intros, outros/end cards, subscribe animations, and custom pop-ups, on videos edited outside of SALO Studio.

❋ Payment methods?

Credit & debit payments are accepted via Wise Transfer, PayPal, or $USD / £GBP ACH payments or wire payments. Depending on the package, it’s either a 50% deposit to start (single project) or monthly installment plan (for retainer clients).
